How do I set up 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) on my DLSL Google account?

To enhance the security of your DLSL Google account, you can enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Log in to your DLSL Google account
    • On your desktop or laptop, sign in to your DLSL Google account.
  2. Access Google Account Security settings
    • Once logged in, navigate to your account’s security settings.
  3. Enable 2-Step Verification
    • Click on "2-Step Verification" and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Set up an authenticator app
    • Open the authenticator app on your mobile device.
    • Use the app to scan the QR code displayed on your desktop/laptop screen.
  5. Enter the verification code
    • After scanning the QR code, the app will generate a verification code.
    • Enter this code to complete the 2FA setup.
  6. Confirm 2FA is working
    • To ensure 2FA is functioning correctly, log out of your DLSL Google account.
    • Log back in, and when prompted, enter the verification code from your authenticator app.

Turning On 2-Step Verification

 

 

On your desktop/laptop, log in to your DLSL Google account.

In the “How you sign in to Google” section, under the “You can add more sign-in options” text, press the “Authenticator” button.

If the “Authenticator” button does not appear, you can press “Add authenticator app” button in the Second Steps section.
